This village set on the western shore of Lake Annecy deserves its name of "Pearl of the Lake".
Adjoining Duingt and Doussard, the hamlet of Bredannaz extends from the lake to the mountains. The cycle path connecting Annecy to Ugine crosses the village and allows easy cycling between the villages along the lake. It also allows a complete tour of Lake Annecy.
Many activities are practiced nearby: water sports in summer (Wake Board, water skiing, Kayaking, hiking...); nearby outdoor activities in winter (snowshoe hiking at Semnoz (20 mins), alpine skiing at Les Saisies (40 mins) or in the 3 Valleys ski resorts (about 1 hour))...

Don't trust the most used search site for this as well. We searched for opening times that should be open but where closed when we came there. This happens to us with groceries, restaurants and canoeing renting places. Annecy city was open so most of our time we spent there.

Mit dem Auto sind viele tolle Tagesausflüge in der Gegend möglich (Annecy, Col du Semnoz, Grotte du Prérouge, Gorge du Fier, ...) Auch für Kinder gibt es viele tolle Aktivitäten: Wasserski, Paragliding, Kayak,... Die Fahrradwege sind sehr gut vernetzt und ziemlich flach, sodass es auch für jüngere Kinder angenehm ist.

Der Hauptort Annecy ist leider ziemlich überlaufen. Hier gibt es zu jeder Tageszeit lange Staus, sogar am Wochenende. Wir haben nach Möglichkeit Ausflüge gemacht, die Annecy weitläufig meiden.
